Kochev Giorgi

He was born in 1965 in Bulgaria. He studied Computer Science focusing on Graphics and Web Development at the School of Engineering and Applied Science, at the George Washington University. He also acquired a BA, MFA in Painting at the University of St. Cyril and a Methodius Veliko Tarnovo, in Bulgaria with a minor in Pedagogy of Visual Arts and Art History, in June 1993. Later on in June 1984 he obtained a degree on Decorative Arts from the School for Interior Design, in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. He has also been awarded in 2007 at the Annual Juried Exhibition organised by Fairfax County Council for the Arts, juried by Irene Hoffman, Director of Baltimore Contemporary Museum and in 2008, juried by Ragan Cole-Cunningham, Director of Exhibitions and Education at the Contemporary Art Centre of Virginia (CAC). He now lives and works in Washington D.C.
